need a little help...

I need some help with this skin...
at the bottom, it doesn't seem to fit together well. I can't think of any way to make it fit better...

can anyone help me with some way to make everything down there look a little less random/out of place?

[edit]that jpeg was discustingly messed up, so I saved it as a gif:[/edit]

Hehe. Nice metal texture down there. At least I'm teaching someone.

First, I would cover up some of those black areas...

I agree with cleanup....and the blue lights sorta take your eye off the rest of the skin, its cool if that was your intention though..

The blue might still work on this skin, just reduce the brightness of it, maybe lighten the shade, and the amount of black could be reduced, overall i think it just needs to be lighter, I like dark skins but this skin seems to be just a little to dark

as above, the contrast between the bright lights and the darkbackground is to big.

Personally I would use yellowish light in stead off cyan and red.
atleast soften the cyan an red a bit

actually, I thought that texture looks more like wood...I was looking at a bench and it occurred to me that your metal texture looks alot like wood, and I was just experimenting with that a litte bit...

I changed all of it except the screen part, and made it...[drumroll]...[/drumroll]
blue

and named it...[drumroll]...[/drumroll]
Blue Light Special

(I just know how much you all love blue skins)

but I'm not going to show it to you...
I shall keep you in suspense (cuz I know how everyone here is so interested in this skin )

but I am going to give you a sneak preview of my wonderful new Previous button. sadly tho, to get the full effect of the button you must view it whilst viewing the entire skin. too bad for you

well, since I know how everyone is so interested in this skin, here's a progress update
finished the PL and EQ
finished Main except for Volume bar
only have WS's, MB, Mikro, AVS, and cursors left

it's coming along quite well
the EQ buttons (On/Auto/Presets) are really fun to play with
the balance bar is kewl, but because of the bug that makes it skip some frames it goies to fast at the end

it's a great skin and I'm sure you all can't wait until I finish it for you

I told you...you have to see the button while it's in the skin to get the full effect of it

Nice one supey, those buttons look great considering they were made in mspaint.

But theyre a bit bright compared to the rest of the skin..if they shone light onto it then that would be a different story...but light sourcing in mspaint would be a tad difficult..
