I hate daylight savings. It really annoys me.

No more driving home from work in the dark! Woohoo!

There's no need to tell me when I'm right;
I operate on that principle exclusively and with absolute certainty

really? Thats pretty dumb! We should all start at the same time!
I see no point in switching times! You either lose or gain an hour of sleep and it takes your body 1 month to get used to the change in times!

Daylight Savings time (i.e. the switch between Grenwich Mean Time and British Standard time) is useful for farmers and people living in the north of the country who get one extra hour of daylight at the start of the day as a result. It is up to individual countries when (if)they decide to change, but until recently it was the case that the UK changed out of step with the rest of the EU, so that occasionaly there was no time difference, or a difference of two hours...

I used to love daylight savings. It meant I got an extra hour of sunlight to play ball hockey in the evenings. It sure beat the street light and whoever was playing goalie had a better chance of making good saves. Of course I haven't played ball hockey in about 8yrs but I'll always remember how much fun I had. I' ve been thinking of starting up a local Sunday hockey game for the community...hmm we'll see.
