SHOUTcast ToolBox for Shoutcast related downloads.
Current Song Display Tools - PHP based XML Parser XML parser in PHP - to mimic the old functionality of MusicTicker - JavaScript Title parser - Dstjohn's Shoutcast Status SHOUTcast Status is a xml parsing script that opens a socket connection to a Shoutcast streaming server. Current stats enabled are: Current song, last 5 songs, current listeners & the ability to add all xml stats available in SHOUTcast. - Radio Tool Box - Music Ticker (out of date) MusicTicker is a general-purpose plug in for Nullsoft Winamp, which enables you to output the name of the currently playing song and recently played songs to an HTML file ready for publication on the World Wide Web. This is very useful for SHOUTcast servers. - ShoutcASP shoutcASP is a set of ASP scripts (Active Server Pages, Microsoft's dynamic web content system) for IIS Server, a plugin for Winamp, a VBS script, database and a couple of COM Objects. In combination they allow you to automate and administrate your Winamp based SHOUTcast station remotely via a web server running on your broadcasting box. Cost $50 - Pakkasherra Shoutcast not required. Sends system information to your website via FTP from which you can include to your html documents with SSI. - Now playing Writes to text file. Form there this can be uploaded to a FTP and parsed on the server end. - Winamp Sig Writes to text file. Form there this can be uploaded to a FTP and parsed on the server end SpyAMP SpyAmp is a simple web server plug in for Winamp that allows people to connect to your computer using a browser and see what you're playing. If you set permissions accordingly, you may also allow downloading of music files. |

Does anyone know how to put these on a website? I've tried to copy and paste the codes and upload the files to my server and nothing happens. Music Ticker works, but only shows the current song I was playing when uploaded. It never changes. How do I get this to work?

I don't care what browser your useing,
I said what kinda of web server is your host running,,? like what kinda of scripts will they let you run?? just go to they're site and find out, or email support for your host and ask what kinda scripts they support, asp. cgi. php, and so on. if your useing a free host then they might not support anything but html. so find out and then come back here.

Thanks for the info, but until I get that far along in my webmaster course, I don't think I can do this. For now, all I know how to write is a basic HTML page. Plus, I have no money to pay for webhosting or a credit card, simply because i maxed out 3 credit cards in the past and haven't paid the companies back.

Ok, I've got the account. now, how to I configure this thing so that it displays for a station that only broadcasts 3 hours in the morning, 2 in the afternoon and 2 in the evening and the IP address changes with each broadcast?

the ip changes with each broadcast,,?
if your useing a dynamic ip, then go here: http://ath.cx and get a dynamic dns account ( also free ). and download they're dns updates client and install it on the computer that's running shoutcast. once you've made your dynamic dns name, just use the name to configure the scripts, so every time your board cast you don't have to change the ip address. also change the script with your port# and password, then just run the script, and everything sould work fine. I've used that host so I know that they support this script. SiX - what's reality compared to me... www.remixwars.com - free mp3's for download! free shoutcast scripts: http://dev.irn.ca |
