Help me find my pants
I accidently closed the window with the volume control and analizer and all that. I clicked on every tab and button I could find to no avail, and could no re-open it on my own. And the forum search makes things about as easy to find as my pants, which have been lost for years. How do I reopen my window?

Alt + W opens and closes whatever window I'm on, much as my fly used to open and close my pants. It does not, however, help me get my volume control/analizer window back.

This is actually a serious problem since I now cannot adjust Winamp's volume. Just as it is a serious problem I no longer have means to cover my white hairy backside in public since I have no pants.
Yes the main window is checked and open. |

There were two files named winamp.ini, one in the windows directory, and one inside the winamp folder. I deleted them both. There was no gen_nomad.dll file on my computer.
I closed winamp and reopened it and see no change. My window is not back. (my pants are not either for those who care) |

ok... Mr. Pantless... if WA is short, click the middle button, this is the minimize (for WA) button. It allows you to make WA small... clicking the middle button (top right) again will procede to make WA big/small again...

If he's merely minimized his main window to winshade mode, I'll be laughing for weeks. Sorry, nothing personal.
![]() Seriously though, since you haven't clearly described the problem, why don't you just uninstall Winamp then do a clean install? (Save your skins and any plugins you want to keep, of course.) |
