small html question...

i'll make this short... I have a counter from fastcounters on my website (http://883design.cjb.net/), it's got that ugly blue in it that doesn't fit to the rest of my site... is there a way to change that color (with a java script or something)?

No chance, the counter is on a script on their server... no chance of cahnging it. Maybe get another counter? or just Get a counter script? they are real small... And if you like, you can email me and il give you a counter in any colour you like on my server.. you just need to add a bit of java to call it (1 line). nova3d@hotmail.com

COUNTERS!

Alright! Counters for anyone who wants them! free! just sign up here on my page and you can log into you stats page. Counters can be visible or invisible, both codes are included. Enjoy! PS: tell me what you think hehe, you can set the counter number to w/e u like, and there are no catches... doing it out of the goodness of my heart lol o yeah, this is a text counter, so you can make it whatever font/colour you like!

http://64.59.146.183/cgi-bin/winamp/counters/index.pl

If your wondering how they work... when you sign up, a folder is created for you, and in it are some files and one being the counter_vis.cgi and counter_notvis.cgi, ofcourse, noone can edit these files but you. On your site you put a line of java, which runs the script, and add one to the total in counter.txt!

Does anyone know of a cgi script counter that's non-hosted, meaning that it's stored on YOUR server? I'm also looking for a decent threaded message board, unhosted also, much like the one here....

I can get you both if you like. But you need Active Perl 5 instaled on you system, and a CGI-Bin on your server. The Message Board is not free, since it took a lot of work. It has an instalation process, so you dont actualy havta mess arround in the code. But enough advertising. The reason i opened the thread:

I totaly redid my site and the design is totaly new. I didnt like the orange on my old one. Check it out and tell me what u think.

PS: The counters are for anyone who wants them, but it has to be a winamp related site, otherwise, talk to me

Very nice site nova...as you know im in the process of making a new one myself, with help from your excellent html tutorial.

I think if you ever get a custom title it should be "coding god"
