Help!!!
My friend borrowed my pc about two months back and it appears he's put in a password for BIOS access.I wouldve killed him if I could get my hands on him.Unfortunatlry he's on vacation.
I really need the bios since I'm a constant overclocker. What do I do?? I tried setting the board back to manufacturing defaults using the [ins] key but the password is still there. HElP!!!!!I'm locked out of my own BIOS. |

I came across this the other day, not sure if it works, not even sure how it works, I thought BIOS would be completely independent. The people who talk below seem to think that it works. It's up to you if you try it |

Provided you unplug the machine, removing the ickle battery is perfectly safe. Discharge yo'self of static, first. It won't change anything you haven't already changed by resetting to default.

Hehe, staticized mobo would not be great. You might as well use it aws a large paperweight.

Ok my BIOS access is back but now I have a new problem.
Crappy Windoze refuses to install my sound drivers. It keeps generating an error code :69 Anyone know what that is.(no jokes about 69 please). |
