Car Accidents

how many car accidents have you been in?
i've been i one, i slid my car sideways at 50 mph, crossed a 3 ft ditch, and went sideways up a hill. the total damage to the car: I popped a tire off the rim, ripped my front license plate off, and folded a fog light in half. and before you say it, it was not due to my insane driving habits, it was because a fox ran out in front of me and i tried to swerve to avoid it. I hit and killed the poor fox anyway though.

it sounds like your mom is just unlucky...either that or all the bad drives flock to her for some reason.

Just so you know, my previous avatar was NOT a swastika, nor did it have much similarity to one. Just thought I'd clear that up since I cannot use my own original art work.

Only accident I've ever been in was in my friend's car when we were on our way back from WizardWorld in Chicago. We got rear-ended on the Dan Ryan (Death Ryan) Expressway. We were stopped (bad traffic that day), and got ass-ended by a guy doing 74 mph. That rammed us into the car in front of us. I ended up knocking my head into the roof and denting it. The car was totaled, and we both got a nice settlement from the idiot's insurance. Too bad micro-phallus boy didn't use his money to get something surgically lengthened...

I've haven't been in any accidents either. Worst thing that's happened to me was being tapped from behind by a car while at a light.

I remember when dad reversed into a gate post. The hilarious thing was it was a 100 space car park, and there was only two other cars there.

The only one I've been in was where some old woman drove into the side of my car on a roundabout - she just cut across the lanes without checking to see if there was anyone beside her

This happened around a year ago:
It was snowy and there was ice on the roads here in Plyouth and this wanker was coming down the road in hurry, skidded and hit our car hard which made it hit the next door neighbours fence and flowers down causing damage to the car. If he had done it literally 3 minutes before we would have been there! Thank god for that!

I fogot to mention: I drove my mom's car through a fence when I was 2. To this day, she's not sure how I managed to get out of my car seat and throw the car into reverse. I'm a wily one

i was cycling round a roundabout one dingy winter morning, on my way to school, and some [edited] driver pulled out and hit me and then decided i wasn't important, and drove off. i wasn't really hurt, just bruises...but it didn't get me off school . I'm still resentful.

my mom backed into my dad's front bumper crumple her whole trunk from 3 feet to about 1 foot. Total damage to my dad's truck: the plate fell off which was already broken from a prior accident.

i was on my way to school when i had my accident. amazingly, getting into a car accident was not a valid excuse for coming in late. I had the tag the ploiceman had put on my car to prove that i was in an accident, but that was still not enough! about 3 weeks later, there was a huge accident close to my school that caused about 50-75 people to be late(i was one of them). this was a valid excuse for being late to school, but the girl who got into the accident did not have a valid excuse, even though the wreck was within sight of the school, and she had 50-75 witnesses! my homeroom teacher found this so absurd that she bitched out the sectary and the vice princaple, and she is usually a very nice person

1. When I was about 3 or 4, our old '72 Nova got nailed by a triad seafood truck (think GTA3... har har). Nasty lick.
2. Went downtown when I was about 12, some guy was flying down the street in an S10 at about 40, ran into the back of a taxi cab, which got pushed into the rear of our Taurus.
3. Prom night, I was in a limo with about 8 other people. Someone from school decided to be stupid and race someone else from another school. 100 in traffic. He sees us ahead, tries to avoid, but can't get car stopped, left-front of his Eclipse nails the center divider, causes the car to do kind of like a half-cartwheel, the back end of his car landing on top of the center divider... 3rd accident out of 5 that night on a 2-mile stretch.
4. Week after graduation, a friend of mine took me out to go check out the college I'm going to in his Frontier Crew Cab. He was plowing at about 80, and he sees traffic, tries to dodge it, but a family in a Trans Am was ahead, and I realized he couldn't make the turn, I lifted my hands up in front of my face. We rolled on our top and skidded about 250 feet from the impact zone on our roof without collecting anyone else.
5. Three weeks after I got my license, I was driving mom to work in the Taurus when some exec dude in the company's Benz nails me in the back real hard in the rain, but nothing more than a gaping hole in the bumper. I had wanted to take my Galant out that day, so who knows what would've happened.

Oh yeah, not injured... just a bit rattled on all counts.

I've been in a few fender benders but I was never the one driving. The only serious crash I was in happened about 5 years ago. My friend was driving and it was dark and late. The police had pulled over a car just ahead of us. My friend was going pretty fast and the road was wet too. Out of nowhere we see this black undercover bonneville slightly on the highway. My friend slammed on the breaks and we slid a long way into the back of the cop car. He was okay, just stupid. I smashed my knee pretty bad and the car was totalled. He lost his license and I'm glad he did.

Picture this: Late winter night. Driving down road. Blind corner coming up. Fucking moron on other side of corner. As you drive towards corner, moron slips on ice, slamming into you head on.

That happened to me once. All i had was seatbelt burns though, lucky me.

I have no life
