Hollywood's Web Shooter's Blue

When I found out that Spidey will have unlimited web. I know there is going to be something missing from Peter Parker. And when I saw the movie, that dreaded missing thingie really make me want to puke. He is refer to in the movie by Harry and Norman as a science person but he didn't use any science in the movie.
In the comics, Peter Parker use his scienctific mind to build the web and the web shooter. He help that Doctor which can change into a lizard type creature with his mind.
In the comics, Spidey sometime is face with the problem of the bad guy and his web shooter running out of web or the web shooter jamming up! In the end, his mind help him to overcome his foes.That is what uniquely identify Spidey from the rest of the superheroes.
In the movie, bah.....all Spidey needs to worry about is his foe that he is facing.He doesn't need to worry about running our of web!
I will not see Spiderman 2 for all it is worth.
Plus, I feel that Stan Lee should have defended his character rather than falling for Hollywood's "I know this is important,but money and realistic are more important" attitude.
Stan Lee should be brave enough to stand up for his character and not let Hollywood push him around like he doesn't own the character.
As small as the web shooter is, it WILL be ALWAYS part of Spiderman, no matter who(in this case,the Director) came along and say "This is more realistic!!"

Consider myself a Spiderman fan for life. Stan Lee, I hope you will not mutilate your character for the sake of Hollywood.

The Web Shooter is what uniquely identifies Spiderman from the rest of the superheros. Batman can have all his gadget,why not Spidey's web shooter?
I don't care if the whole fucking movie is does not follow the comics.I don't care that Peter Parker's real childhood sweetheart is really Gwen Stacy and not Mary Jane. I don't care that Peter Parker was bitten by the wrong spider. I don't care the least bit that they only put Mary Jane on that bridge but not Gwen Stacy which died while Spidey was trying to save both MJ and GS. I don't care.......
I care about that simple yet important thing call the web shooter.

It should have been a great movie,but because of that web shooter thingie, I say it SUCKS big time.

I won't see the sequel,prequel,or whatever.

Thank you for letting me spill out what I think.That make me feel a little better.

i guess it's because i never really read spiderman comics, but i dont' see the loss of the webshooter as that big a problem
they still maintain the things of spiderman's character which make him so easily identifiable w/
the way he is a tormented teen
that he feels he has so much to live towards
that he has to work to build his skills, even if the shooting is now natural, he still has to learn how to use it properly

Batman is special because of his gadget and gizmo.
Superman is special because he has superpower.
The Incredible Hulk is special because "Puny" Banner can't control him.(although he managed to do it eventually)
every damn superhero is special because of something.

What were the directors thinking? Wrist glands that generate spider webs are not as realistic as Wrist Sized Machines that manufacture a supertensile fast drying rubber/plastic/polymer unknown to science.

The real reason that movie SUCKED was all the super sappy banal dramatic monologues.

I can get too into things myself.

Personally, i couldnt give s hit about spiderman or books that become movies.

LOTR kicked ass but i would never read the books.
Me gets bored too easily. I prefer books which are eye openers to life

eg. You Can't Tell The People - Georgina Bruni.

That is a hell of book!
