MP3Pro Technology

This is simply a suggestion that the Nullsoft team consider implementing support for the recognition and playback of Mp3Pro files without the need for a third party plugin. It makes little sense to support Microsoft's similar WMA format and avoid this amazing technology; unlike WMA technology, MP3PRo was not created with the intent of limiting one's ability to decode music.

The plugin which I must presently resort to can be found at http://www.mp3prozone.com/. I suggest anyone not familiar with the bennifets of MP3Pro encoding check it out. Anyway, It would be nice if users could see this type of plugin incorporated into the next update. Thanks.

mp3pro is a proprietary, deadend format that few people use now, and no-one will be using in a couple of years. Those who want a plugin for winamp have one, the rest of us have no use for one and don't want one. Thanks!

There's no need to tell me when I'm right;
I operate on that principle exclusively and with absolute certainty
