why this crappy automatic skin made in 2 mins: Brooke Berry skinwill get thousands of downloads while mine won't be seen by anybody?
which are the rules to make it in the new skins section?
not to mention this:
Britney:335,000 d/loads!

hm... Both are skinner.exe's but the one with the woman has fans, the monkey has no fans. I think that public rating is what determines the place of your skin. And no offence, but i dont see anything special in your skin.

There are no rules for making it into the new skins sections, skins get sent there as they are reviewed, sorry the reviewers aint working any slower , thus prohibiting the new skins section from getting 5 new skins a day, just so yours can be seen in there, they publish as fast as they review.

So if they review 1000 skins in a day, then a 1000 skins will appear in the new skins section.

Besides, who cares about numbers.

i surely know my first skin is nothing special, but 335,000 downloads for an automatic skin....

This has been brought up a number of times before....

The new skins category is sorted by CID numbers, and skinner.exe skins get published before the good stuff...

It's sad to see skins like that on the front page of the skins section at winamp.com, but unless admin were to make changes to that category, so no skins that go into the generated category get in there, theres not much that can be done about it.
