No Sound From Winamp
Please help, I put a CD into my D drive and pressed play on the winamp player but ther was no sound, but it was playing. Everything works when I use Media plater, any suggestions.

windows media player uses digital cd playback while winamp uses analog playback, you need a cable from your cdrom to the soundcard in order to hear the cd
however you can add digital cd playback to winamp: install the cdreader and read it's docs carefully, you have to disable winamp's default cd plugin http://www.url*****~copah/CDReader.htm |

Adding on to Lion King's post about disabling the default Winamp CD plugin.
To disable the default Winamp CD plugin, close down Winamp. Go to C:\Program Files\Winamp (where your Winamp files are located), and go to the Plugins folder there. What you want to disable is in_cdda.dll Rename that file, in_cdda.dll.off |
