Cheap PC component sites?
We're going to be building our next computer probably within the next 3-6 months, and have been looking around for some good sites. So far we've got:
techbargains.com newegg.com pcmods.com tigerdirect.com Does anyone have any sites that they swear by? So far tigerdirect has been our best bet, although techbargains comes up with a good deal every now and then. Ideas? |

www.infotechnow.com i just got my whole new computer from there. AMD 1800+ xp, msi mobo with an awsome on-board sound chip, 256 ddr ram, 64 mb geforce 2 with tv out vid card, nic card, dvd rom drive, case w/ power supply, 60 gig hard drive, and 100 ft of cat5 line for $630 ish. computer came in about a week
Computers may be twice as fast as they were in 1973 but your average person is as drunk and stupid as ever. The only one who's changed is Dro! He's become bitter, and let's face it, crazy over the years. He'll sell our children's organs to zoos for meat. And he'll go into people's houses at night and wreck up the place! Muhuhahahaha! |

while i dont necessarialy swear by tigerdirect, i do reccomend them
i ordered some stuff from them and it came a good 3 days before i was expecting it, i think the reason being their warehouse is in illinois or something like that, indiana, maybe... and im in columbia, so st louis should be good too... www.pricewatch.com is what most people would reccomend, but all they do is go through most of the sites on the net and report the lowest prices and link you to them, so pricewatch in itself is good but each individual site is that you have to take your chances on... |

Thanks everyone, got a few more links now.
Yeah, pricewatch is one I forgot to list, but we have used it. Techbargains.com is similar, it's basically a bunch of good deals from Best Buy, Circuit City, Staples, etc. plus a lot of online stuff. Actually, right now they have a coupon to get a free frozen lemonade at Burger King, if anyone's interested
