won't start?
When I try to start MilkDrop 1.03 beta 3 (or any previous versions, for that matter), I get the error you see on the attached GIF.
In this case, Winamp is the only thing running, and I have a Voodoo3 3000 with 32 Megs of VRAM, so I know that isn't the problem. It runs Tripex3 at 30+ fps, and Geiss at even higher rates, so I just don't know what's going on here. Any ideas? (Yes, I have the latest drivers. Tried that alerady.) |

It is a lot easier for me to sort out your MD problems than it is the line-in.
This is more my domain. ![]() You problem is your Voodoo Card..... ![]() See the sticky FAQ just above your thread http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?threadid=77551 If you are on XP or 200 then the drivers will have problems. XP don't work at all. So you will need to hassle the people at one of the driver companies to get a set of drivers that actually support Direct X Direct3d. Goto the 3dfxu forum http://nat.mine.nu:81/3dfx/forums/fo...3?s=&forumid=8 and search for MilkDrop is a thread about it there. I think though you will be waiting for some time......

What OS and what drivers?
Have you changed any of these? All you are using a Voodoo3 I think you can only run MD in 16bit for your Voodoo3 but I am not sure. I only have the options for 16 bit color. No 8 or 32 to be seen. I have attached a screen shot.
I haven't done ANYTHING except reboot since it worked and ceased to work. I just don't know what could be going on. BT |

Maybe you should try the 1.03 final.. It probably wont fix it but, worth a try.
-- Also try running in windowed mode. |
