read me sucks

I'm trying to figure out how to get my computer to stream music over the net and i installed the plugin and have DNAS running but when i select connect, it never connects, it always disconnects and returns to not connected.... what do i do to troubleshoot because the readme's just suck?

no matter what I do, every port I try is not working... this is a win98 machine connected to internet via a cable modem and a linksys hub (2 machines w/ 2 separate IP hooked up to the hub and the hub is connected to the cable modem)

What is SrcIP set to in sc_serv.ini/sc_serv.conf?
