Digital Anarchy
Again, I have another problem. I am running WinMe (yeah, i know it sucks) and just recently my resource level/memory level is going down really fast. I Have 256MB of RAM, but just surfing the net really wears the system out. And I'm so fucking tired of it. I have to restart every 5 minutes. I can hardly even listen to tunes in Winamp without an error or sound problems.
Please help with this, and what about that CD ripper post? I need a 320kbps Mp3 encoding CD ripper. Legalize It. Liberate It. Free The People of the United States. Free The Herbs Of The World! |

Windows ME has a real bad problem with memory leak.
Get MaxMem from AnalogX to control that. Works great, and it's free. |

Install either Windows 2000 or Windows XP. 98 is an upgrade compared to ME.

You might also want to look into OGG Vorbis. To fix the mem leak, I'd suggest that you find a way to get some other OS. Buy, steal, borrow, whatever. Short of that, a clean reinstall should help. ME shouldn't be having as many problems as you are describing. For the freedom to express myself in my own way without fear of being censored or banned.47 65 6C 61 65 64 2E 63 6F 6D 00 |
