As many of you know, the Western U.S. is suffering from a severe drought which has made for extreme fire danger. Colorado has been hit the hardest especially close to home. While it makes for fascinating sunsets, it also has many coughing and I have very red eyes
If you would all please blow this direction, maybe they'll go out
Maybe not, but either way it's an eye opener to see what something so simple as a cigarette butt can do.

BTW, the Hayman fire east NW of Colorado Springs was started by an 18 year veteran forest ranger

This has been a weird year. I've had to shampoo once a day (I shower, of course, daily, but shampooing depends on the season... every other day in the summer, twice weekly in winter) because my scalp dries out horribly, and my hair cracks.

Use conditioner if you aren't already. That will help quite a bit. You might also want to consider using a wee bit o' hair wax. It works miracles, but get a good hair wax (e.g. Vidal Sassoon). The cheap ones are more like grease (e.g. Loreal).

Chev I currently live in Santa Fe, NM and every summer it seems like half of Northern New Mexico is on fire. Right now there are two fires around this area and when the wind blows the right way the entire town is covered in smoke. The moon at night is blood red and like you said the sunsets are super cool becuase of the colors.

I don't like conditioner. It ends up making my hair all fluffy, and I look like some kind of mutant poodle.
