Winamp Volume

How can I find out the current winamp volume? I found out how to SET the volume using 122 as a message, but how do I find out what the volume currently is?

I'd be grateful for ANY help on this!!!

cant, not that I know of anyway, you may be able to find it out using directX, if they are using that plugin, or through the wave volume, if they are using that one, but ultimately, it's set by the plugin, and I'm thinking winamp access that part of the plugin to set it, so knowing which it is modifying would be hard. Maybe one way would be to check out dsp, and see if the volume is in the waveform data, but I'm just guessing there, it's out of my realm mostly.
You CAN increment the volume, and if you can send messages fast enough, you MIGHT be able to decrement it, then re increment it back to the orginal, before the song even has time to play, IF it says when you have hit rock bottom, if not, then you'll be de-incrementing till the end of time.., I havent tried this, tho I might, seeing as I need this feature also.
