win xp problems

When playing music with winamp and doing smth else or just watching visualizations, the sound becomes very choppy and it sounds VERY BAD. What the hell is wrong?? The computer ISN'T slow!!!!

What resolution are you running the visualisations in?

What video card do you have?

Tried the latest drivers.

I know these are soft questions, but they are usually the problem/

well, the vcard is 32mb geforce 2mx with the latest detonator 29.xx drivers, 700mhz duron, 256ram :]
The fullscreen mode for any app works perfect, BUT in windowed mode the sound is terrible.
BTW, quite many programs runs slower with detonator installed!!!

actually the stock nvidia ones work better on my card then the MSI ones...
