YAY, no more huge images to load on my poor old 56K!

56K is not always as slow as people make it out to be, and it isn't always the modems fault. Where I live it's the phones lines that are the worst part, [exageration] things that take 2 mins to load on the other side of town takes 10 mins here [/exageration]. Then there are the people with a special type of connection that lets them connect to the phone lines at about four times faster, effectivly hoging everyone elses bandwidth.

I think I'll drop out of the contest, I can't find any insperation and with school starting soon and mum threating to clean my cupboards out for me if I don't, I don't much free time anyways.

I really like it too. It all just fits together really well.

I've decided that i wont be entering. I've got 1 more wa2 skin to finish and then i'm going to focus on making wa3 skins.

I will then publish a list of the skins showing how many votes each one received. I will also publish a list of the names of those who voted (but I won't reveal who they voted for). You may not vote for your own skin.

You will find probably all the ORB pictures (album covers etc.) you'd want on this page

This really pains me.

I know waaaaay back on page one, I stated my intentions, in a most conditional manner, of entering this contest. I've been trying, I really have. But I must shamefully abscond. Too much frustration and not enough time, nor devotion to the subject.

I really wasn't going to enter anyway. (Really!) I was just going to throw up the skin for critiquing. I do intend on finishing this skin (I. Won't. Let. It. Beat. Me

), but for now I have to walk away.

Maybe you'll see it come winter, 2003 when everyone here has graduated to keen Winamp 3 skins and I'm still figuring out code for the accursed Mbinner.

That's cool. It seems that all the skins are WA2 skins now, which should make them easier to judge for everyone.

Ok, yeah, I have to be different, I don't know if it's anything like you're looking for, but rather than base an album in particular, I've been pulling components of different ones right and left. (The PL "buttons" are definitely just placeholders, dun like that area compared to the rest yet) but this is the very general idea so far.
