New Default Skin Mod

I had an idea for a new default skin mod, only winshade. i got a mock
up below. the only thing that wouldnt be all winshade is the playlist.
All I need is a coder. Anyone?

i think thats a good idea, the funktions are better.
but to make it a little bit better you can change the grafics

my suggestions for this:

1.main shade: Like the idea, but remove the ML button, not needed as much... if you want a third button, make it TH (thinger) instead.. and KEEP the minimize and "-" buttons, dont remove anything, just add..

2.eq shade: I like those buttons but if your're gonna make a skin mod, why not move the sliders closer together and place the buttons on the far right side..
and keep the default "-" button, just add the three others, dont remove anything.

3.pl shade: keep it like it is as default (or switch the text area to a real songticker like Nemessis did)

edit: this is a kewl small project I'm willing to code..

and I don't need the "-" since its winshade only.

heres the diff:
replaced pl with min.; replaced ml with pl; added x-fade, shuffle,
repeat, and thinger; moved eq volume and ticker to left, eq buttons
to right.

well, I still think you should take back the "-", you still want to be able to switch to normal mode, dont you?

remove the eq and pl, and make there the "-" and a thingerbutton, because in #483 there were open a menu with eq, pl, ... if you click on the thinger.
you see, that you don't need the eq and pl button if you have the thinger.

it would be nice to have the "-" button back,
because of the place you must remove one or two buttons, therefore you could delete eq & pl, there these buttons are 2 clicks away.

and it was only a suggestion!!

well the default skin still has eq and pl buttons, so they will stay.

Look, it needs some way to switch back to normal mode from shade, quickly. I use the shade switch button 10 or 20 times more often than shuffle and repeat (maybe 6 times more often than crossfade). So I propose a compromise by making the shade switch the right-click function on top of the minimize button. So: left-click: minimize, right-click: switch layout.

Okay I added a regular normal mode button, do i need it for the EQ?
Also I added the VS (Vis) button, so you can switch from No visulation,
Spectum, Oscilliscope, and AVS. is this a good or bad thing?

don't think AVS would look so good in that tiny area..
And if AVS isn't used, you don't need any vis button, cos you can change the vis-mode by clicking the vis itself..

edit:
I just came to think of something..
it's possible to make some maki code to be able to click on the vis itself to change between osc, analyzer and avs too..
so you don't need that button at all, if you don't want too..

also, yea EQ also needs a "-" button..
make the PRESET button only PRE button, and then you can fit in the "-" button next to it..

yeah I could still code it...
it's mostly xml changes anyway..

Photoshop! I would have to [wink]pay[/wink] for that! All the grahpics
we're already done by Steve or I made them in Paint.
Here is a new screen shot of what it should look like in use with the
new buttons attached too. The Aut and Pre buttons look better and I
fixed some other thing. Nemensis could we use your scrolling song title
script in pl shade mode?

Only thing left is to replace the textbar in pledit with the songticker..
Nemessis didn't do any script for it AFAIK, he just inserted a songticker there...
