Cracking sound...volume weird?

I have everything set up right and everyone can connect just fine , however. Now when I open up winamp and play my mp3s they are crackling and sound like i have the volume up too high but I have it on the lowest settings for my speaker and on my computer volume setting. And the listeners hear the music cracking tooo and its just an annoyance. You know what I could have done wrong? I tried everything possible and its probably something really stupid..HELP! lol

Sounds like you need to adjust your

equalizer settings. Try using one of the pre-adjusted settings if you are unsure how to adjust the levels yourself. This will help both you and the listeners...

Thank you for your reply! That was just it it wasn't set on auto so the sounds were bouncing off the walls

Thank you very much..now both my listeners and I are having a pleasant time listening!
