new idea for feature
firstly i'd just like to say that milkdrop is the best overall visualisation program i have downloaded. congratulations on some top work.
now, i was thinking the other day that it would cool if you could somehow design an extra feature that would allow you to "compose" you own film clip to each indeividual song. That way you could make sure that all the visualisations always changed in time with the beat, and changed to something visually that suited the music. i got the idea after listening to some pink floyd...thinking about how wicked it would be. i don't know anything about programming these things, maybe this it too advanced or something...but i'd be interested to know what you think of the idea. keep up the good work |

Further - Adding to the idea
I had a similar idea the other day, listening to the same thing, Pink Floyd, but my thought would be to add a "Copy to Directory" hotkey for the presets. That way, when you're going through the five-hundred some odd presets you can quickly and easily create a favorites directory.
I like sacrovir's idea too, a script writing utility that would record preset names and times for each song into a seperate file would be REALLY handy. Alot of times I find myself wanting to record the presets playing. |
