Not sure where to start

with the problems I had with Winamp 3.0.

I have Win XP Home, P3-800EB, 512M Ram and Winamp 3.0 has so many problems it is useless to me. Even when I have all other programs shutdown it takes almost 45 seconds to load. It crashes or bitches about codec with almost all video formats. I do not seem to have an option to make changes if it "thinks" it found the right CD information from CDDB but it is wrong info.

There are a handfull of other things too but most may be trivial to the average user.

Where can I get the last version now, just prior to the 3.0 release?
