I'm sorry for spaming. All I wanted to do was let everyone know my plugin name change. Anyhow, I'm a programmer not an artist and I my website gets the job done with efficiency. The site is automatically updated by frontpage when I make changes and don't have time to waste trying to get a web site to look right on the screen. Bottom line, we will see how my programming skills are in the future. Until then, I'll continue developing them at school. The ftp port 21 was blocked so a changed the port to 2120 and updated the links on the website last night.

do with it what you want I don't care anymore. Microsoft probably has a better plugin than me anyhow. If you have questions or comments I like to give and take help but don't complain. I do not plan to come out with any further versions for winamp as of now. The link is on the sucky web page as well. Thanks for helping me turn my hard work (the plugin) into a complete failure. Yes, I am now a bad guy and no one would ever want to waste there time downloading my plugin.

What really upsets me about forums is how easy it is for people to say stuff to other kinds of people without putting much thought into it (me included but not just me) and without knowing but about the other person. Worst of all, it sticks. It doesn't go away, it can't be taken back and it continues to hurt. Appoligizing for mistakes is not enough in a forum. The mistakes or sour words are not forgotten. All you have to do is type something in and press the post button.

error was fixed. I happens when you have a / or \ in your song title. I added code to remove them.

I recently reinstalled my XP system after backing up everything in a temp folder. The problem was that by default the folder was encrypted and I did not notice until I found out that I can not access any of the files in that folder now. One of the few things that I can not do without that was in that folder is the source for SpeakNPlay as well as the setup files and until I get them back I will not have them available for download. If anyone has downloaded the a setup file or even better the source please send me a copy. Thanks.

Um, what about when your listening to music and you want to change songs? Wouldn't the background noise interfer with the plug-in hearing you correctly?

The downloads are fixed. I am back in business. To answer the previous question, the noise from the music does cause problems sometimes. However, there are many things that can be done to minimize the problems to an extent that makes the plugin pratical. First, the better you train the engine to your voice the better the chances nothing goes wrong. Second, positioning the mic closer to you than the speaks helps reduce problems (I can get it working from across my room). Last, I added a command to disable audio commands while listening to music or when you don't want to use them. After being disabled, the only command SpeakNPaly listens for is the command to enable audio commands which decreases the chance that the plugin will somehow hear a command from the music playing. When I first played with the idea of voice commands I had a command to restart my computer. I usually had it disabled but every once in a while my room mate would yell across the room the command to restart or start playing music. He managed to restart my computer about two times during development of SpeakToMe.

The author's downloads site is not working, the plugin doesn't appear to be listed here, I have been unable to contact him via e-mail and he's never on AIM

I have wanted a plugin like this like forever, any help would be greatly appreciated.. ~_~;; Reply here and/or contact me on AIM please? Thanks :E
