Question How do you assign an EqVis to a gammagroup?

How do you assign an EqVis (or Vis for that matter) to a certain gammagroup so that its color would change along with the colortheme?
Tried declaring:

<color id="eq.vis.color" value="255,255,255" gammagroup="..."/>

in an elements tag and then something like:

<EqVis id="..."
x=".." y=".." w=".." h=".."
color="eq.vis.color"
/>

,but it just stays white no matter what happens. Also tried:

<EqVis id="..."
x=".." y=".." w=".." h=".."
colortop="eq.vis.color"
colormiddle="eq.vis.color"
colorbottom="eq.vis.color"
colorpreamp="eq.vis.color"
/>
- stays purple

and

<EqVis id="..."
x=".." y=".." w=".." h=".."
colortop="255,255,255"
colormiddle="255,255,255"
colorbottom="255,255,255"
colorpreamp="255,255,255"
color="eq.vis.color"
/>
-stays white

Please help out.

<EqVis id="..."
x=".." y=".." w=".." h=".."
color="eq.vis.color"
gammagroup="background"
/>

Talking

Hadn't thought about that. Seems so obvious now that I know. Thanks a lot!

PHP Code:
<vis id="Visual.vis" x="1" y="2" w="104" h="29"
colorbandpeak="190,190,190"
colorallbands="190,190,190"
colorallosc="190,190,190"
gammagroup="VisualsArea"
/>
this is what i use. it works for me. guess EQVis must be the same, but i am not sure.

PHP Code:
<EqVis id="eq.vis" x="3" y="22" w="34" h="30" colortop="255,255,255" colormiddle="255,255,255" colorbottom="255,255,255" colorpreamp="212,212,212" gammagroup="Fonts"/>
That's what I typed. Stays white even when the skin is changed to a colortheme with the "Fonts" gammagroup set to black ("-4098,-4098,-4098").

Send a message via AIM to iPlayTheSpoons
however, if you make

code:

<EqVis id="eq.vis" x="3" y="22" w="34" h="30" colortop="my.color.id" colormiddle="my.color.id" colorbottom="my.color.id" colorpreamp="my.color.id" />

and have "my.color.id" coincide with

code:

<color id="my.color.id" value="255,255,255" gammagroup="MyGammaGroup"/>

inside your elements area...it works much more reliably...try that

Tried it already. It stays purple because colortop, colormiddle etc. probably require explicit values.

did you make colors called "eq.vis.color" or gammagroups? What spoony mentioned must work because it makes no diference if you write "225.15.158" or the "color.vis" if you have declared that color already.

Yes I tried it too, purple no matter what. I haven't seen it in other skins now that you mention it, so I fear what you ask for can't be done then...
