yet another language complain
Hi
I have did a search and read most (can't say all, but too old may not apply to my problem. ![]() My set up is: Winamp: v5.12 (x86) - Dec 9 2005 OS: XP Pro (both home and work) Regional and language options: first tab (regional options): standard and formats: English (Australia) location: Australia third tab (advance): Language for non-Unicode programs: Chinese (PRC) Problem, I think quite a few people had mentioned before. The Play List displays the Chinese song title perfectly. But when you close the play list, the display for the current song is not displaying any special characters, so no Chinese at all. I have included a screenshot. The top is what you get when you "min" the play list into a bar. The last song in the play list is the song that's currently playing. So should display in the 'play bar' (not sure what to call it) on top. But as you can see, the Chinese characters are not there. If this has been fixed, could you please point me to the right direction? If not and you are looking at it, it would much appreciated and you let me know. I would much prefer to use you than windows media player, but due to this reason, I can only use wmp. Thanks! |

But since you have it displaying right in the Playlist Editor you seem to have gottent that far. Just need to set the shade songticker to use the right font. http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....97#post1313997 Use the Font Mapper and you want to set shade.songticker.font |

Thank you! I can only see half of the font, and if I set it smaller I can't see it. Oh well.. It's good enough for now.
![]() May be you can give it a bit more space? just a wishlist item now.. Thank you again! |
