MP3 Surround Decoding.

Hi all,
Please add MP3 Surround Decoding to in_mp3.dll plug like as Fraunhofer IIS MP3 Surround Decoder.
I need this option im using VST Host Plug and Stereo -> 5.1 Decoder as DSP Effect.
I need MP3 6 CH output on exit but in_mp3.dll has output as 2 CH Only.
Fraunhofer is making 6CH output but has no configuration eg. streaming etc... and cannot edit Tags.

Sorry for my English. this is not my language.

I guess you mean the Thompson mp3pro decoder.

MP3pro is crap, don't expect native support. You can acitivate 5.1 support via the direct sound output plugin.

yes it's thompson decoder but it's Surround Decoder not MP3 Pro.

You right MP3pro is crap, i have 5.1 card, direct sound output plug has only output 2CH when mp3 is played by in_mp3.dll
when i'm play mp3 with Surround Decoder on output is 6CH.

Make sure, your using the latest sound card drivers. Also make sure, that "Allow hardware acceleration" is checked and your Windows setting is 5.1 speakers too.

Works fine here.

AOL have to pay a licence fee, to include this encoder in Winamp.

Look at the Output Format in 2 and 3 and compare it

I need real 6CH output, not 2CH and bypass this same voice on every speaker.

I thought you requested this. For me all 6 speakers work with MP3 files, it's clear, that this is no real surround sound

For the surround encoder AOL/Nullsoft has to pay a licence fee, don't expect native support.

How it's works

1.MP3 must be Play with MP3 Sur in_mp3.dll not working properly.
2.using VST plug and CircleSurround VST Decoder you can real surround, eg. l,c,r,rl,rr,lfe

If you want check how it works download trial of Circle VST

I think if in_mp3.dll has add option for unlock 6CH real output insted of 2CH then maybe it works.

hehe, I don't want to know, how I get this to work, rather I want to know, how the technology works.

simple stereo mp3 file -> MP3 Stereo eXtended (MP3 SX) converter -> surround mp3 files??

I guess it's cheating a little bit, isn't it.
It's also not possible to convert mono files to stereo files, and I mean real stereo.

I'm skeptical.
