Winamp skips thru playlist

Im using v 5.12 (x86) and while playing I can see it skip at random.

The mp3's are in the folder, and it does this. I know that if the songs arnt there it will skip till it finds the next one on the playlist thats there.

This is not the case. I'm using Winamp with Shoutcast on a broadcast station. I've seen Winamp skip over my 10 second station ID mp3's and then play the exact same file the next time it comes up.

Is there some fix? Is the most recent winamp better?

Not sure if upgrading to 5.21 will fix your issue, but only the latest version is supported.

Do you have any 3rd-party plugins installed?

Please provide system specs.
