Client side sync issue
I'm running into a client side sync issue with NSV.
After about 10 to 20 minutes of steaming the audio is about 1 or 2 seconds behind the video. This is from the IE and Firefox web players. I know its not out of sync from the source because closing the browser and reconnecting brings that audio and video back into sync. The stream is a live stream using a MiniDV cam for A/V, connected to a PC running NSV Live Capture (from the NSVtools_repack.exe on SCVI.net), connecting to a remote Shoutcast server. The stream settings are something like 250Kbps VP3(3.1) video stream, and 48 to 96Kbps VBR MP3 audio stream. What could be causing the sync issue? Is there a setting in NSVCAP that I can change to help with this? Does the "Min/max sync frame interval" do anything for this problem? (Current settings for that are 0/120.) |

That option is checked.
Although I'm not sure that the Threshold, min/max distance are set correctly. What is the "Min/max sync frame interval" used for? Could that be the problem? I saw on the forums someone said 10/50 was good, and on this page you linked it says 19/19. Currently mine's set at 0/150. |
