This caused by some visualization plug-ins. Don't ask me why.

Unless you're really in love with your skinned cursors, you might also try this:
Open Winamp, go to Winamp Preferences (Ctrl+P), select Options => Display, and make sure that Use Winamp-styled (skinned) cursors is NOT CHECKED. I think 99% of Winamp cursor problems (such as flickering and offset) only occur when skinned cursors are enabled. |

Some of the other settings in there have also been known to cause some people problems
(tho' not me, btw) Uncheck one at a time until the problem goes away. Starting with the Rev's suggestion (which is the most likely suspect), other possible ones = Always show clutterbar Snap windows at * pixels Use bitmap font for title display All the other ones should be ok to use (tooltips, scroll, dim, numbers) |

... And for some more technical background related to cursor behavior, you might want to read Air's post in this thread:

Actually, I figured out a way to fix this (without restarting). Press Ctrl-K, go under Options, Display. De-select the "Use winamp-styled (skinned) cursor".
I'm glad I got that figured out. I'm guessing lot of people have the same problem. -Craig aka Cynandude |
