Dear people on the winamp community,
I am just recently the webmaster of http://www.bsplayer.com bsplayer is a divx player witch can be skinned completly it's the perfect player fot watching divx files or ripped dvd's because you can display subtitles and much more, like winamp this player is very low on cpu resources, making it possible to play a high quality divx on a celeron 433, try that with mediaplayer. wont work. I started a skinning contest to increase the number of skins for this perfect player. just check out my site and see, http://www.bsplayer.com greetz Goety. |

BSPlayer has been my favorite player for a long time.
That link you posted doesn't work, but http://bsplayer.cjb.net/ does. How come? In support of aggressive sex with llamas, and freedom from the obligation to explain.Pawhosting.com | Pawsoft.com | Pawdesign.com | PabUK.com |

Stuff like this is always being cross-posted...
They should learn not to do that... But I never tried that player to watch my movies.. I always use GDivX... "Insanity -- a perfectly rational adjustment to an insane world." -R. D. Lang |

Just want to say to goety you could have just edited your original post to set the correct URL. You can only do this for 48 hours after the post was made (I think).

thx everybody
I didn't know you could edit your post, If I did ofcourse I wouldn't have crosposted this. Thx for all of your support,
tell me witch skin you like best, and if anybody has an idea on how to determine witch skin would win, help is always welcome. :-) I hope nobody blames me for making a bit of advertisement this way, but I figure, that's how winamp started and the winamp idea, (very good player on low system resources) is exactly the idea after BSplay SO, http://www.bsplay.com ,got it right this time :-) again thx to everybody who already visited my site. greetz Goety. |

I can finally offer the ACTUAL value of time for editing posts (because I just tried to edit my original one in this thread). And the answer is...

Sorry, pal, I've been messing with BSPlayer for a few hours now and I can't say it's the "perfect DiVX player". I will offer some pointers though.
Discrete buttons are good, right click menus are not. Try to add some small buttons in your player for Options, Full Screen, Skins, the kinds of things most people want readily available. Also, the whole idea of playlists and recent files is kind of unnecessary. Why bother? Using these suggestions and fixing some of the bugs would really help BSPlayer to be a top-notch program. Otherwise, at least you have the right name going ![]() This is your brain. This is your brain on pot.
