Actually, I used to Script big time for mIRC, had a huge script called SacredPulse.

I knew everything, from $tokens to $ports to $$1.

Now, I have forgotten everything, and am having trouble finding the scripts.

I actually remember giving up on it, cuz I had over half a meg of script files in it, close to 10,000 lines, and then Khaled Mardam Bey changed some syntax around, and my script stopped working with the next version.

I wasnt about to edit 9 thousand lines of code to make a script 6 people were going to use, so i scrapped it.

PS: found the scripts and stuff, if anyone is interested.

i use mIRC. always have. always will. it really whips pIRCh's ass.

i use to script. had it all. made a addon called Perv and one called SB News. Perv was for channels that didn't want people in channels like #dogsex in their channel. was configurable by dialog, and offered many ways to take action (ban, warn and wait then ban, etc). those were the good times. SB News downloaded the headlines off of SchoolBlows News. First time I used sockets. Oh... those were the days.

mIRC, pIRCh, vIRC. They can all go to heck. XiRCON rules. Sure, it's abandonware, but everything works so that's not a problem. It also uses TCL for its scripting language so scripts for it tend to be very feature filled (syntax/one, the script I use, is a great example of this). So go download it already.

I use Kraken Script, it's like mIRC but with a crap load more options and alot better..

anyone have a link to the creators page? i can't find it at all, i got it off an fserve using mIRC, because i couldn't find it anywhere else..

Thanks for the links JNS. Personally I've always liked Kano better than syntax, which is what I'm currently using. Kano's website has been down for months though. I'm glad to have found your links here and I'm installing Kano now. Is this the latest version? Has Kano opened up another site somewhere?
