Skin Reviews

To put a halt to (or at least postpone for a while) the onslaught of posts and e-mails asking when new skins will be published, and "where did my skin go", please take note of the following.

Due to dissatisfaction with the way skins were being reviewed, namely people giving bad reviews to good skins just to decrease their rating, a Skin Review Team has been set up. This team is responsible for reviewing new skins, adding staff comments, giving suggestions, and ultimately publishing them on the site.

Also note however, that there is a backlist of over 1000 unpublished skins, as well as the skins that are added to the list each day, so don't expect to see your skin published the day after you submit it, at least for a while. It's going to take some time for things to smooth out and order to be restored, so please be patient - we're doing the best that we can at the moment. If there are any questions, add them to this post.

On average, how many skins can the Skin Review Team process per day once they get going?

Just trying to make a rough estimation on time.

That's a inside secret, I think the majority of the reviewers wish to remain anonymous for fear of spam/flame attacks should a less than flattering review be handed down to someone. I'm sure those that don't want to be anonymous will make it known to people before long as to who they are.

Yes indeed, there are new skins on the page. As has been pointed out, the skin review team is up and running, and has been busy.....

Well I'm glad someone had their skins published...I've been waiting 2 weeks for mine to be reviewed, and it still hasn't been touched.

There's a pretty big skin backlog, so be prepared to wait some more.
