then they decide to insult the ones involved: "'Don't they have something better to do during the summer than hack our site?' asked the RIAA representative, who asked not to be identified. 'Perhaps it at least took 10 minutes away from stealing music.'" they might as well say "i'm bending over, ram me harder bubba." |

Although it is quite amusing that the site did go down, it is still not going to take away that bill is it?

no they dont. the RIAA is an organization of companies not a company. they are comprised of AOLTW Sony and the 3 others. They own all music in america basically minus non lable associated music (ie indy bands) The RIAA does not own music they just say CD's should not be pirated (agree) CD's should cost 20 dollars (disagree) and ALL INTERNET MUSIC THEY DONT CONTROL SHOULD BE ILLEGAL. strongly disagree.

The RIAA is NOT for the artist, its for the record companies. Which is why they should die, and f00k off. If you think the CARP royalties SUCK ASS, then go to http://www.fuck-riaa.com or http://www.die-riaa.com and fill out the "Say no to CARP" form. If internet radio is going to be charged, it should be charged as a normal broadcast station would.. by their income... not listener base.
Commies.

I'm sure the RIAA is gonna pay attention to something like that. And I'm also sure that the fine people fighting the RIAA in Congress, are gonna use that as examples. Like James Traficant would say: ![]() Beam me up, Scotty. |

who cares if riaa.org is down. what needs to shut down their operations is to take down their internal network. good luck hax0rs you may need to think a lil on this one beyond the regular DOS attack.

I was looking to see if it was down now... they seem to ahve let off ont he DoS attacks. And there I have had a good laugh at this sull shit they are trying to feed us:
" What costs go into making a CD? When asked, most consumers describe CDs as a good value. Some say they're too expensive and the packaging is the reason for this. Some say the record companies want to make more money [that is the ony true statment in this] and that's the reason they cost what they cost. What many don't realize is what goes into producing a CD -- and packaging is among the least important elements of bringing you that music. For example, the most significant cost of a CD today is the marketing and promotion of that music. To learn more about why CDs are a great value -- check out Cost of a CD." its so funny how they try to twist the truth to make it seem they are the good guys. |

Woo Hoo RIAA!!!
I personally fully agree with the RIAA. If I was in charge, I would make it so that the music would be implanted into your head so that nobody else can hear it. Can you beleive that today you are allowed to let your friends listen to a CD of yours, even if they don't own it! That is simply outrageous! The friend (I prefer to call them a theif) may be aple to remeber a song they hear, or even numerous songs!, and feel some sort of happiness afterward, for FREE! This simply cannot go any further. P2P, radio, they all need to be banned forever!!!
DLiNKWiT27 out (i truly hope that u get the sarcasim of this post, i felt that it was not necessary to add [sarcasim] tags, but those idiots out there I AM JOKING!) |
