I guessing soon. I want to be wrong, cause lets be fair, WA3 is barely in beta stage. Still lots of work to do to it..
edit Yes, i know, but i'm one of those that want all the wa2 features plus more to be in the first release of wa3. (This was GD, now i'm in wa3 forum, don't mind me.) |

That's a bit harsh. Just because it doesn't have all the features of Winamp2 doesn't mean it's not ready. Brennan and Co. have said (relatively) unimportant features will be added post-release. In fact, I think you're guilty of what Sawg is always reprimanding n00bs for!

what the hell are they doing for component coders? i mean, it seems we have been ignored from the begining or somethin! but, yea... yay! final! b486 is sweet. runs perfect (except that SDK bug i noted a few billion builds ago that still isnt fixed) -=- Darkain Dragoon -=- -=- RM-X Home Page - Controlling Winamp via RM-900, RM-1000, RM-1500, ATI Remote Wonder, Joysticks, Gamepads, Wheels, Keyboard shortcuts, Multimedia keyboards, across the net, and much more! -=- Defenestration !!! -=- |

Ahhh!!!! less than 24 hours!!!!!!! ahhh!!! Well that seems pretty set in stone to me I mean what are the odds that they would pick a thursday to party on if they aren't releasing it tomorrow?? Oh and party hard, but not too hard so that you can't keep developing friday k? No no just kidding.
![]() Now will it go live at midnight or do we have to wait? and is that midnight PT (shiste that's like 3 am here, but right in time for breakfast for you Brits huh?) |

hey! mods! or who-ever..
can we get a new forums just for newbs? and then make it so all other forums require a simple password or specific number of posts to be able to post in them? -=- Darkain Dragoon -=- -=- RM-X Home Page - Controlling Winamp via RM-900, RM-1000, RM-1500, ATI Remote Wonder, Joysticks, Gamepads, Wheels, Keyboard shortcuts, Multimedia keyboards, across the net, and much more! -=- Defenestration !!! -=- |

i think this is not possible and very impolite against the nubs (*selfslap*). But how about a "Alpha/Beta Tester Memorial Forum" or something like this?

::mean:: skrew the newbs as they skrewd us over with stupid comments and complaints!!
::not mean:: ok ok ok, i see your point. that is a lil rude. yea, i agree tho. have a lil forum for all of us that have been around since the days of RC, betas, and for the elite few, those that where around even before that! (i, myself, really didnt start WA3 until beta1 was released) -=- Darkain Dragoon -=- -=- RM-X Home Page - Controlling Winamp via RM-900, RM-1000, RM-1500, ATI Remote Wonder, Joysticks, Gamepads, Wheels, Keyboard shortcuts, Multimedia keyboards, across the net, and much more! -=- Defenestration !!! -=- |

Ohh looky, two treads with links already, well heres a third. I guess Nullsoft let it leak a little early, ohh well. Build 488, yippie!
Lets see, complaints? I'd love to, it seems that the playlist names arn't imported from the .bpl files, instead they seem to assume that we want our playlist to be named Playlist 001 - Playlist 047, just what I need when I want to listen to a certain cd.. Other than that it r0x0rz my azz. [edit]The new splashscreen totaly ownz, it made it worth the download for me [/edit][wtf!]b4s? Almost makes me regret the day I converted all my playlists into bpl's. Atleast all thats seemed to change is the extension, I can do it quick and easy from command.[/wtf!] Old King Cole was a merry old soul. |

.bpl had to be renamed 'cause .bpl was being used by Borland Package Library. I know, I know, fuck Pascal. But hey.
