    Thanks for the info hon.
    The boys and I just went to the website and punched in our serial number and date. Ours is new and they said we are unaffected.
    Better safe than sorry

        30 reported incidents out of 14 million units sold. That doesn't seem too dangerous to me. Just dust off your PS2 and rip the cable out of that and use it. Same difference. Still though free cable .

            Really? The literal one-in-500,000 chance that your cable is defective is a reason that buying an xbox is a waste of money?

            They could just as well have not even had the recall, but they did. You seem to hate xboxes for other reason, and it shows.

                        I hit my freinds x-box with a sledgehammer.

                        It took a good couple hits to really break the thing. Damn thing was pretty durable.
