The World Wide Web Turns 25

The WWW had it's 25th anniversary a few days ago. Many (probably most) of you have always had the web. Some of us gray beards remember the times before, when bulletin board services (BBS) and dial-up modems were all we had. The technology was different, but the discussions were just as lively. Maybe more so, because we didn't have pictures to help explain things.

Yes, I had to learn ms-dos then on my new 386SX. Just upgraded from my commodore. I spent hours at night downloading one or two songs from Aimster and Napster. It used to take about 1 or more hours to get one short song. Longer if it came from overseas. Thank you Al Gore. LOL
