Computer Experts: I need your help!!

I just found out that my computer is unusually slow, (I have a Dual P3X 550Mhz) The fans on each processor failed, I know this because I tested the power output on the socket of the MB where the fans plug into.

Both processors still work, but I was wondering if my chips took permanent damage from overheating. I use the computer for 10 hours a day for about 2 days of fan failure.
