scratched glass/(crystal?)? specifically that of a watch face, i recently crashed on a bike and fucked up my watch Too DAMN Much for me to think to fix it (<-- sorry had to )
it's got scratches all over the face, it almost makes it not easy to read, (it's analog and digital so it's not too bad) is there anything i can do besides replacing the watch? some kind of miracle compound like that used to fix car scratches? sanding/buffing? anything? it's a nice casio watch so i don wanna replace it

You'll have to call Casio and see if there's a jeweller near you that will replace the crystal. And no, you can't buff the scratches out.

The crystal is inside (usually quartz), it vibrates at a certain frequency and hence keeps the time. The top piece will just be glass, I think.

Dunno if you can get it over there, but I've used Duraglit to remove light surface scratches from glass fronted watches before, it's technically a metal polish, but if used with care can grind out light scratches, if they are deep gouges however then you are basically fucked.

Duraglit wadding polish comes to us from England and is made of a thick cotton wadding roll impregnated with mineral spirits and micro-fine aluminum oxide abrasives. Duraglit comes in two types: the first, the more coarse of the two, is for brass, copper, chrome and other metals. The second, the finer of the two, is for silver. Each 75g can contains a roll approx. 2-1/2" wide x 16" long.

Otherwise take it to a jewelers they should be able to replace the glass unless it's some casio only mould, otherwise contact casio direct.

Clear Nail Varnish will clean it up a fair bit, I used it on my Bellini Solar.

Only real solution is to replace the face, or have it ground. [edit] Glass, not face.

Try progressively finer sandpaper like people use to polish paint on show cars. Start with about 800 grit. Then use toothpaste for the final polish. Follow up with Future floor polish.

I have used this to remove scratches from model car windows.

Polishing it with brake fluid will do wonders . . . that is unless you've already done everything else suggested here . . . if so, forget this one.
