That's nice. idk about you, but i'd rather type on the blackberry keyboard than a touchscreen, especially since i can't guarantee that i won't have dirt/grease on my hands when i need to type a message.

It is also a Motorola, which means it will be a pile of shit.

LOL 8MB of memory? That is frankly pathetic, even for a mobile phone. You are not getting value for money if you buy that thing, not by a long way. The rest of the features are very much bog standard that you can get on any other phone that is miles cheaper.

If you are getting it simply for the novelty of a touch screen, then consider the Sony Ericsson P910 (not sure if it has a different model number in the US), which has a raft of better features that the moto.

I am still laughing at 8mb of memory.

i know that much memory is pitifull..
i'm pretty sure my current phone has at least 32megs built in memory.

and while the touchscreen is cool, i kind of liked it more for the fact that it had an actually halfway decent camera on it (my phone takes pretty grainy pics in anything but daylight) and the handwriting recognition was cool too, but let's face facts here, i'm not going to be able to afford that phone... i was just drooling over it.

and i've never really been a fan of sony, but i will check out that one you mentioned.

ok, so now i've checked around on the phone mentioned by bilbo, and i've but one question...

if these are comparable phones why does one sell for well over $400 USD and the other for about $35-50 USD?

Get the Nokia N91 anyway, 4gb of Harddrive wont let you go far wrong.

Shit, even my skip-protecting portable CD player from the mid-90s has more than 8MB buffer memory.
