I got a few new goodies at once (as in last week):

- Canon EOS 450D


- Nintendo Wii


- New oven


The camera is awesome. The oven bakes very well. And the Wii I just got (so I still need to install it).

There's more on my list to be getting too:

I get to renew my phone contract, so I can pick a new mobile tomorrow (advice please ?). And soon we'll be getting a kitten:



We're probably going to pick the black one.

advice on mobile phones?
get an unlocked sim card one that's able to be configured by you're carrier and take good care of it so you can use it with the next one if they screw you over.
unless you want verizon get a sim card phone, everyone else uses sim cards except for verizon and the prepaid bullshit services and maybe nextel, not sure though.

Thanks so far Too-DAMN-Much but I'm already stuck with a Vodafone (NL) plan.

I now have had a LG Chocolate (KG800) which is totally crap. It broke down 3 times within one year and it's still not functioning properly, it refuses to communicate with my car (Fiat 500).

Nokia has always work best for me. Overpriced and not-so-feature-rich but decent phones. I'm aiming for a N95 (N81 and N810 seems nice too) or something equal at the moment.

Damn, I didn't know those Bleach box sets were so expensive... But still not bad since it has 20 episodes. Season 2 box set is $70.

Just got Heroes Season 1 box set in today, as well as about $137 worth of groceries, which mostly consisted of buffalo style chicken strips, cream cheese jalapeño poppers, ranch dressing, pizza sauce, lit'l smokies wieners, jambalaya mix, sushi and SuperNova Dew.

Yeah, $50 is a bit much, especially from BME where I've bought box sets for The Unit and LOST for $25-$30...But oh well; It's a 5-disk/20-episode set, and I could've searched elsewhere on the internet to get it cheaper, but fuck it...BME is a quality local chain that I support, and I was willing to pay this much anyway, and I got it new instead of like-new...

A quick Google search for the S2 box set brings up a hit with Wal-Mart selling it for $40...Can't wait for that to come out...

Yes, I bought the kit which holds the EF-S 18-55 1:3,5-5.6 IS lens. Something I need to get used to, I'm used to the EOS 350D + kit lens (without stabilizer). It's easier taking pictures with the 350 because it has less focus points (7 instead of 9). I think 75% of my first 100 pics failed because of that. I think I'm getting used now so I hope to shoot some good pics any time soon.
