I'm looking into expanding onto youtube as well, community seems quite enthusiastic for that, but that means having to either deal with youtube monitisation or Patreon.

YT is actively trying to reduce the number of people it pays, so probably going to rule that out from the start. And Patreon have already proven themselves to be quite idiotic with the faffing about they did last year. But I guess they are more reliable than YT would be.

Recently picked up a second hand Lenovo Ideapad Y700, was in good condition and about a hundred pounds cheaper than any other place that sells them so figured it was worth a punt.


Mostly have it for work, able to stream when away from the main machine, but also useful for recording podcasts on the go. The one thing my Chromebook sucks for is anything audio-recording related.

Metal Bunk Bed with Stairs
