Since my last stay here I have changed jobs twice (for the better), gotten married and had a baby girl 9 months ago. She is the most precious, sweet baby ever! I found happiness when I least expected it! We are moving down to Georgia in 10 days. My older 2 boys have graduated high school and have jobs, my youngest is a smarty pants 4.0 national honers student that is going to be a High School Senior this year.

I miss all of you... ((hugs and love))

Last week I went to the meeting-point, and I saw the cat again, when I took the other way from another U-Bahn-Station. I think, this is a male-cat and not a female-cat. In the street there is a shop, where sausages and other meat are sold and where he can get his food.

In my childhood & youth I saw cats on some of our family-journeys. In Berlin mostly I saw only dogs. My father liked more the dogs, my mother liked more the cats. I learned to know also many dogs. Between 1974 and 1984 3 dogs had been hit by a car, later 1 dog got cancer. Many other dogs became old, before they had to be put to sleep.

My husband Frank brought 2 cats into the marriage, when we married in August 1993. He had adopted them in 1986 & 1988. In 1996 we adopted the next 3 cats. All cats have gone, and currently we cannot adopt a new cat, because pets are not allowed anymore in the leased apartments and because we don't know, what the future will bring.

The next time I will try again to post a photo. Today I do not feel it is appropriate.

2 days ago I had a telephone call with one of the very less remained friends. She lives in another city, and she said, many patients will now change the dentist. We always thought a doctor would have respect for living humans and animals.

1 week ago another tragedy has happened in our street. We have to live at a very loud street. I was in the bed at night. Frank was sitting in the kitchen and suddenly he heard a car accident from the street. At first he thought, 2 cars would have been dameged, but then he saw the cat lying and dying. He experienced it already the second time in his life, the first time it happened in 1988, also at night, while he was on work. I left the bed. Later the police came and brought away the cat.

No, today I don't want to post a photo.

2 days ago I saw outside something on the newspapers, later also in the TV-textes. Many acteurs and actresses were very upset. A tourist with much money has visited Africa and shot a lion (a male cat). There was no reason for doing that, only as a hobby, it is not acceptable...
