      • Lovely kids Wally. Like the scabby knees for that touch of extra authenticity.

Mine lost the cuteness long ago.

Jesus, some people don't believe in telepathy and any of that psychic stuff, but goddammit when you open a thread with the intent to post something specific and someone's already beat you to it, then that makes me a believer (To some extent)...

I saw that on Red Eye one night...That is one gutsy domestic cat to not be afraid of water like that...

                    • Well, I guess this is a nice add-on to that, even if just for the curiously interesting guitar playing.

Don't forget to live before you die.

Cute kids It's funny. Reminds me of my little sister who didn't have skin on her knees until she was 16. She had a good time in her mayhem though, so I guess that's what counts.

                              • It's for things like that cats learn of a mysterious entity that comes down from the heavens and clobbers them for getting on tables, the counters, clawing furniture and spraying things.

You will find the broom most effective if you don't yell at the cat while clobbering it. The ideal situation is that the kat thinks the broom has a life of it's own and will strike regardless of whether you are present.

Cats generally aren't smart enough to figure out it was you that clobbered them. Use due care when you broom a kitty. They have fairly delicate diaphragms. It isn't necessary to actually hurt the kat. Losing face is usually enough. I've also found a squirt pistol with a tiny bit of ammonia in it is effective too. Again, you do not want the kitty to be aware that you are involved in the squirting. Just that when they do something, they get squirted... by some mysterious force.... You can even be sympathetic after they have been attacked by the mysterious force...

With these two techniques and a little diligence, you can get a perfectly well behaved kat. If you yell at them or get personally physical with them, they'll know it was you and simply avoid peeing on your shoes, clawing the furniture, walking the counters, and spraying the couch until you are not around.
