New Threads v. Replies

Let's see if I have this right...

In order to hit the magic number of 20 posts, one has to post 20 new threads, not just post a combination of 20 new threads and replies.

Is this right?

that has changed over the years, it's now at least 30 but please don't start postpumping just to get there,

Posts/Threads that are blatantly post pumping will be removed/locked without recourse to the poster.
