I kinda wish we had a way of collectively keeping in touch when this place is finally shuttered. But then I hate le social media, so… it's a tough one.

ShyShy and I could do another US/UK road-trip. She's actually visiting her folks (central Texas) from next week, for two weeks. ShyShy Jr. just got back from a 3-week stint with the same folks – her grandparents – so I guess it'll be my turn next, to go somewhere solo.

I sometimes think they should've flicked the switch here without an announcement. No warning, nothing, just -click- and done. We all have other things in our lives, but we also have this. I don't know how to translate it into the next stage, other than just not.
