Certain aspects of the overall project are still very viable and in use unto this very day. Milkdrop/AVS are happily trippin' out on my kumpootwerizer right now.
The search for the ultimate signature continues apace. I have journeyed from the peaks of Nepal to the depths of oceanic trenches. I have crossed deserts, jungles, swamps, savannas, steppes and frozen wastelands. I have consulted with seers, swamis, sages, scholars and savants. The peregrination proceeds purposefully.

Still using & will be using until it no longer works, never found anything better for managing a large locally stored audio collection.

I'm now using WACUP (aka, Winamp Part II) for the most part, but still using Winamp with thinktink's plug-in for embedding albumart in my local audio files.

Our living room TV is connected to a PC tower hidden behind furniture, so WinAMP/Wacup are still often used for kids' dance parties with Milkdrop/AVS as well as just playing music when working on projects or house chores. Plus, if I get back into dj work as a side job when the whole COVID thing goes away, I'll continue using it for that as well. I don't yet foresee a time when I won't want WinAMP around anymore.
