It was 1999 before i discovered MP3 and Winamp...

The AOL years weren't brilliant. The Radonomy years have been worse.

Its not the same program I used 23 years ago

Happy Birthday Winamp! Winamp is a piece of my heart as I have Bento. I love it so much. Sadly, the situation with NFTs and the Radionomy selling the Winamp 1 skin as NFT made me a bit sad. Before 2-3 months i started making scripts, and "plug-ins" for Winamp and I am very proud of it.

Again, Happy Birthday Winamp and Winamp Community!

Happy Birthday to the first media player I used that I really liked. Before I discovered Winamp, it was WMP that came with Windows and RealPlayer.

a shame rn/av is doing everything in their might to smear the brand through the mud whilst obviously not giving a crap about the diminishing userbase... ah crap, i said my opion again.
May or may not attempt to push WACUP to you, totally not, no. Why would I even?
And may or may not also have told you so...

Those flame wars seem very bizarre in retrospect.

Nope, which really made discovering Winamp like discovering that toy you always wanted under the xmas tree on Christmas day.

I remember giving Sonique a try but ditching it shortly afterwards, I can't clearly recall, but I remember liking it for the looks or something, but ended up disliking it because of how poor performance and lack of options it had.
