Tons of hits!?!?!?!

Umm, yeah. Well, I knew that my site was sweet and all, but what the heck? Today I've had 130 hits so far. This is weird. That is like 1/6th of my hits. Well, it has to be a good site so why don't you check it out here. There is some proof of the hits at the bottom.

So here is my question. How many hits does you site have?

I've got about 700 right now, ~100 of which are just me.

same, somewheres about 700. but tjb2004, you get so many hits because of your counter. it adds a number every time you reload, so you could av just sat there am clicked reload a buncha times

150, which I think is pretty damned good for a server which is limited to 10 simultaneous connections on a crappy dial-up connection that is only online about 12 hours a day whose only exposure is a text link in a sig that has only been online for about a week.

I have no idea how many "hits" I have on my website. I used to have a cool site at tripod, but then I deleted it all. Then I started a new website, but have not put alot of time into it. I just make it for fun, so I guess I dont care how many times people look at it.

well, this is just a thought and not an impossibility:

The thread that was started here yesterday (the one that said we stole your mascot) was linked to the napigator board. The particular thread at the napigator board has been viewed over 500 times (JUST that thread alone). Now I realize there are some duplicates but in lieu of that, I personally looked at your website yesterday. I think we may have brought some viewers over here..

That site is set up on brinkster. And if it was on my computer, it would be a dsl connection. And that site isn't a week old, I redid the site a week ago. HAHA.

Now the hits are up to 947. This is weird. I almost don't like it.

This site is hosted by brinkster and is on 24 hours a day.

I have a DSL connection, thus if I was running the server, which I'm not, it wouldn't be a dial-up.
