Also, the refresh takes u back to the top of the screen, rather than keeping u at the part of the page u refresh from.

From what I see, it seems it might be related to the URL still anchoring to an earlier post

this does not work for me. i tried on a cell phone, laptop, edge and chrome. i get 2 defaults and a winamp ng, whatever that means. i don't see a dark mode, and none of my 3 choices appear to be one.

also, sometimes you can change the theme at the bottom left of a given page.

EDIT: i also find the forums slow and occasionally unresponsive, (500 error) forcing me to refresh when i shouldn't need to, and the constantly alternating logo in the top left is highly distracting and annoying.

You should be able to change themes in the bottom left corner of the home page, or any page, or the control panel.

winamp-ng theme is now pretty similar to the old forum default theme.

The math question was added a few years back in an attempt to prevent spambots from signing up...
It's required for signups and profile changes.
Do you not see the actual math sum?

i now only see 2 themes to choose from, but they seem very similar, not at all like the old forum.

More importantly: quoting breaks/resets any draft quick reply. Clicking "ףף Quote" for one post adds that post's quote to the quick reply box. Then clicking "ףף Quote" on another post [a] doesn't add the second post's quote to the quick reply box but [b] changes the color of both quoted posts' "ףף Quote" from grey to orange (i.e. "ףף Quote"), implying they are both being quoted, but not showing [both of] them in the quick reply. THEN clicking one of the same quoted posts' "ףף Quote" buttons [a] changes both posts' "ףף Quote" button BACK to grey AND it deletes the contents of the quick reply box, replacing it with the remaining quoted post's quote.

Not a simple cosmetic preference, this is a significant problem that should be fixed.

Ooh… I very much do not like this (see attached).

Also: look at all this wasted vertical space!!! Part of the problem, if there are attachments, is that the attachments section seems to appear UNDER the bottom of the Tweet button to the left. That's pretty stupid.

Edit: this post also renamed my attachment from spam.png to image.png, whereas my filenames for previous posts' attachments were kept.

The "ignore" settings aren't working. I scrolled past a post by one of the people on my ignore list and his post was visible.
